The core of the Post Capital investment philosophy is a long-term partnership with management based on the following principles.

Management Independence
Post Capital works very closely with senior management, but we strongly believe that the executive management team is solely responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the business.  We view our role as providing support, usually at the board level, and helping to catalyze and facilitate management’s operating and strategic vision with capital, financial expertise and strategic insight.

Alignment of Interests
All of our transactions are structured to provide senior management with meaningful equity ownership in the companies they manage.  In addition, annual incentive plans are often instituted and designed to generously share with management teams the value that they create in their company.  Post Capital also encourages our executives to invest alongside of us because we believe that managers should also be owners and thereby build wealth for themselves commensurate with their contributions to growing the value of their businesses.
